Description:

This course explores therapeutic options for obesity persistence or obesity recurrence after bariatric surgery with expert speakers from integrated health, non-surgeon physicians and surgeons.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn definitions of obesity persistence and obesity recurrence, how to identify them, and options for management.
  2. Review anti-obesity medications and their appropriate applications.
  3. Discuss weight regain etiologies (including hormonal, anatomic, environmental and psychological) and treatment.
  4. Explore surgical revision options in detail.
